COVID-19: Biomedical Insights into an Evolving Epidemic
 
A global overview of the biology and biomedical research on SARS-CoV-2 pandemic including epidemiology of the outbreak, prediction models, virus genetics, structure and biology, pathophysiology, immunology, therapies (drug and antibody-based), vaccine development as well as stories from the trenches.

Objectives:
The aim of this short course is to provide a comprehensive overview of diverse on-going biomedical research on COVID-19 and its etiological agent, the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), including analysis of leading vaccine and therapeutic efforts, pathophysiology and clinical management addressing the three critical aspects of infection control - Prevention, Diagnosis and Treatment.

Target audience: Graduate/undergraduate students, MBBS research track students and healthcare professionals.

A certificate of participation will be awarded for those who have completed each part (Part I, II, III or IV) of the webinar; and a special certificate for those who have completed all 4 parts (Part I to IV).
