The 2019 Conference Committee cordially invite you to participate the “2019 International Conference on Future Healthcare and Economic Development (FHED) II” at the National Cheng Kung University(NCKU), Taiwan, November 8 - November 11, 2019.

This International Conference is executed by Medical Device Innovation Center(MDIC) NCKU, an innovative medical device engine in Southern Taiwan, aiming to promote healthcare innovation and provide multidisciplinary training courses to young scholars, physicians and researchers. In the conference, the participants will be introduced Medical Technology innovation practice through seminars and workshops on healthcare technology design, regulation, commercialization, entrepreneurship and industrial perspectives. 

Participants will be working in teams to solve medical unmet clinical needs and healthcare issues by brainstorming and combining their expertise in various fields of healthcare development. By doing this, the conference also creates a collaborative forum by bringing together young researchers, educators and physicians from around the world. Participant Requirement We cordially welcome participants of young scholars, physicians and researchers engaged in various fields dedicating to healthcare development (e.g. medicine, engineering, materials, big data, public health, health economy, long term care). Participants with biomedical engineering backgrounds or experiences are preferred. 

► The participants must fulfill one of the following requirement:

1. Currently as a Lecturer in UMP
2. Currently as a postgraduate student in UMPC
3. Currently as a senior college student (from fourth year) in UMP. 

► Registration: The registration deadline is October 4, 2019. Please follow the steps for registration:

1. Complete Online Registration at 2019 FHED II official website (http://2019fhed-2.mystrikingly.com).
2. The Congress Committee will review registration documents on a rolling basis, and send you a Confirmation Letter regarding whether your registration is accepted or not, and whether your travel cost compensation is approved.
3. As long as your registration accepted, you will be asked to Submit Required Documents to the Congress.
4. After you submit all required documents, you will be able to attend this International Conference. 

► Travel Support

Following travel support will be provided to the participants whose travel cost compensation is approved by the Congress stated in Confirmation Letter. 

1. One round trip Economy-class airfare (max. 20,000 NTD, about 670 USD)
2. Up to 5 night arranged accommodation of double room shared with another participant assigned by the Congress
3. VISA application fee for participant who needs a VISA to visit Taiwan (from original country to Taiwan) 
4. Travel cost compensation will be provided to participants without absence from any conference sessions.
