NUS Special Clinical Electives Programme is open to applicants who are bona fide students of a medical school and already in their clinical years.

Applications must be submitted 8 to 12 months in advance of their intended posting period.

Kindly note that the minimum and maximum posting period will be 2 weeks and 12 weeks respectively. 

Upon completion of their electives, NUS will provide students with the Letter of Completion.

NUS Special Clinical Electives Programme is opened all year round.

Students from UMP may complete their clinical electives with us at any time of the year.

However, kindly note that July is the peak period for NUS and it may be harder to secure placements of their choice. If it is possible, it is advisable to avoid the month of July.
