Taipei Medical University Translational Medicine Program Two Month Scholarship for undergraduate students (from third year) or graduate students in Vietnam.

A committee will review the student profiles and make the final decision. The approved student will receive a two-month stipend ( NT$15,000-20,000/month) for their stay in Taiwan.

The internship aims to provide students with insight into a-state-of-the-art research and to develop interdisciplinary capacity in the field of translational medicine. The courses contain two parts:

(1) Professional lectures covering

• The principles of translational medicine
• The potentials of translational research in new medicines
• Basic knowledge of medical-related research, from molecular biology, preclinical development to clinical trial
• The TMU core facility accelerating translational research.

(2) Laboratory internship

• Students need to choose an advisor from the faculties of TMU Translational Medicine Program for conducting a research project. The students will be trained in basic laboratory skills and safety issues and given guidance on experimental design, data handling, and statistical analysis. At the end of the internship, students are required to present their work orally in the public.
