The 2020 SATU Joint Research Scheme (JRS) is now calling for proposals
13/03/2020

The 2020 SATU Joint Research Scheme (JRS) is now calling for proposals to establish cooperation among our member universities. We hope that you will join us to enhance our regional collaborations and help us to achieve a more fruitful fact-finding future.

The Presidents’ Forum of Southeast and South Asia and Taiwan Universities (SATU Presidents’ Forum) established in 2003. Currently, SATU is composed of 104 member universities located in the nine countries of Brunei, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam. JRS is one of the programs under the Forum.

We are very happy that the JRS has been receiving more and more attention from our member universities. Since the establishment of this program in 2012, the number of matched projects has grown from 4 in 2012 to 61 in 2019. We believe that the JRS has served an important role in promoting collaborations among our member universities.

Please visit 2020 SATU JRS for more information. We encourage Principal Investigators (PI) from those member universities, which can offer funding plans and be host universities, to submit their project proposals and find collaborators from other SATU members. SATU International Secretariat will provide the matching platform and call for Co-PI for PI’s projects. The submission process is short and simple, and will take less than five minutes to finish it.

Please note and mark in your calendar that the submission deadline is 31st March, 2020.

We will also be very grateful if you could share this information regarding the 2020 SATU JRS with you academic colleagues.
