Student Exchange Workshop

 In the context of UK government recently launch the Turing Scheme which provide fund to facilitate student mobilities globally and facilitate partnerships in education across the world, the VN-UK HEP Network is orgnanising a workshop to promote student exchange between the two countries. While we are all preparing for the Turing Scheme application, it would be great to discuss how we can promote student exchange in the longer term. The workshop will address the following issues:

1. What are the attractions of Vietnam as a destination for exchange programme?
2. What are the possible modes and durations of exchange? e.g. 12-month exchange, PhD student exchange, short-term exchange, work placement
3. What are the challenges associated with student exchange? e.g. funding availability, accreditation and credit transfer, liaison with industry

Prof Raymond Lee (University of Portsmouth, UK), Dr Bui Thi Ngoc Thuy (Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Vietnam) and British Council Vietnam are co-organising and hosting this workshop. Hoang Van Anh, Director, Education & Society, British Council Vietnam, has been invited to join this workshop as a special guest.
