Online Tsukuba 11th Summer Research Program 2021 (September 21-30, 2021)
UMP's student will have an opportunity to explore the latest biomedical research at Tsukuba, take part in the workshops, and attend the Tsukuba Global Science Week Online Conference.
Student must be an undergraduate (excluding first-year student) or graduate (Master's program) student majoring in life science or related fields, with a GPA of above 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale), especially, the students who are interested in pursuing graduate studies in biomedical sciences at Tsukuba university.
Admission is free. Although organizers cannot guarantee the applicants will be accepted into the program as the space is limited.
The qualified participants will learn the front-edge research projects represented from our laboratories (on-demand video) and then take part in a live discussion scheduled on September 27 and 28, 2021. We will have a special workshop on "Genome Editing with CRISPR-Cas Technology" and information sessions about our graduate programs.
A cultural exchange event is scheduled for the participants to chat with our students to introduce life in Japan. Students will also have an opportunity to attend the Tsukuba Global Scientific Week conference on September 29 and 30, 2021.
